Week 10 Proxy - 'D' Stage

This submission is for the 'D' stage of our Unreal VR Project.

Video showcasing the three animations I created with the Alice rig made by Kati

Screenshot of one of the hand poses with the new mesh made by Will

For the "D" layout stage, I animated a rig of the Alice character made by Katie (the legs don't quite line up with the joints, but they will be fixed when the new rig is uploaded). I created three different animations with it: an idle pose, a walk cycle, and a grabbing animation where she picks up the player by their ears. Besides that, I also remade the rabbit hand poses I made the previous week (some weight painting still needs to be done by a rigger). I wound up remaking them because I replaced the old mesh with a new one made by Will in ZBrush.

Week 9 Layout - 'F' Stage

This time around, we're starting to create our VR projects in Unreal. We're currently in our block out, or "F" stage.

Left is New Alice. Right is Old Alice. Middle is just for scale

Hand Poses. From Left to Right: Idle, Grasp, Index Curl, Point, Thumbs Up, and Thematic (Holding a Pocket Watch)

For the "F" layout stage, I took and modified Katie's rigged rabbit hand, and posed them in the way that they were requested, creating six unique poses in total for each hand. There's an Idle pose, a Grasp pose, an Index Curl pose, a Point pose, a Thumbs Up pose, and our Thematic Character pose for the left hand (right hand will be mirrored in Unreal). They'll all be animated at a later stage. Besides that, I also modified the interactable character (Alice) so that she appears more like our final design, though she will be modeled better by one of our 3D artists at a later stage.

Perforce Submission (wound up creating multiple versions)

Week 07- Let’s Make It Stick

For this Common Art assignment, we get a bit of a break and just have to print stickers to hand out of one of our accepted designs from previous weeks. Printers overall were a bit finicky to set up, but they came out alright in the end.

Printed Stickers:

I kept the messed up ones (I wound up messing up my first print since the borders weren't big enough)

I already signed the back of them and handed them out to Cheryl, Chris, and Nick.

Cricut Design Space:
Overall, this was a nice change of pace. Have a great day, and stay safe from hurricane Milton! Peace and take care!✌️

Module 2 Week 07 Homework (Simple Crate and Barrel)

This week's assignment has me finishing up and showcasing the crate that I created starting several weeks ago. Overall, I'm glad with how it turned out.

Week 06 - Use of Composition

Here is my submission for Week 06 of Common Art, where we created scenes from our Alice in Wonderland project using unique composition types. I used the Circular one for mine. The target artist I was influenced by was Eyvind Earle.
